ST. LOUIS, MO. – Senior
Jessica Ploss recorded a career-high 11 blocks and added six kills to help the University of Missouri-St. Louis volleyball team to a 25-13, 25-19, 25-18 win over Maryville on Tuesday night in Great Lakes Valley Conference play.
The Tritons set the tone for the match early, racing out to an 11-0 lead to open the contest and trailed just two times the entire match. They improve to 7-10 overall, including 3-4 in the GLVC, while Maryville slips to 6-10 and 1-6 in the league.
UMSL hit .183 as a team and tallied 11 blocks, while limiting the Saints to .025 hitting.

Hannah Miller recorded nine kills and added six blocks, while junior
Samantha Lewis followed with eight kills, 12 digs and a service ace.

Erin Walker tallied 18 digs.
