WEEKLY REWIND...
Men's Basketball
The Tritons stayed perfect at home last week, beating cross-town foe Webster in their lone game, 74-58. Senior Brandon Marquardt hit a career-high five three-pointers in his 17 point effort, while freshman Joshua Webster led the Tritons in scoring with 19 points. 12 of the 13 players that saw action scored for the Tritons, with their bench totaling 37 points.
 
UMSL (3-2) returns to action Thursday, hosting Drury in the GLVC opener before entertaining Missouri S&T on Saturday.

Women's Basketball
UMSL went 1-1 last week, defeating Findlay at home (74-59) after falling to Kentucky Wesleyan on the road (74-58).  At Kentucky Wesleyan last Wednesday, the Tritons rallied back from a 12-point deficit, but couldn't complete the comeback, committing 22 turnovers in the loss. Junior Shea O'Brien led the offense with 16 points, while senior Kelly Kunkel added 15 points of her own. The Tritons bounced back in convincing fashion at home against Findlay on Saturday, using a 10-1 run midway through the third quarter to take a lead they would not reqlinquish. Junior Sydney Bloch led the Tritons with a 16-point effort, while freshman Sydney Skaggs added with 12 points.
 
The Tritons (3-3) are at Saint Louis U. tonight in an exhibition game and will host Drury and Missouri S&T on Thursday and Saturday, respectively, in the first pair of GLVC games this season\
