QUINCY, ILL. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis women's soccer team opened Great Lakes Valley Conference play at No. 6 ranked Quincy on Friday night, drawing a 1-1 double overtime tie.
The Tritons move to 1-0-1 overall and will host Truman State on Sunday at 12 p.m. in their home opener, while Quincy is now 3-0-1.

Miriam Taylor recorded her third goal of the season in the 59
th minute to tie the game at 1-1, beating Hawks keeper Megan Swanson one-on-one after taking the long ball from junior
Kayla Delgado.
Quincy broke a scoreless game in the 30
th minute, scoring on Ashley Burton's header from six yards out.
The Hawks finished the first stanza outshooting the Tritons, 10-6, with seven of those attempts coming after their goal.
The Tritons outshot Quincy, 23-20, in the game, including 11-6 in the second half, and finished the contest with 12 shots on goal to the Hawks' seven.
Quincy fired three quick shots to start the first overtime, two of which were saved by senior keeper
Megan Ohm, before five consecutive shots from the Tritons. Both teams then took one shot in the final overtime.
Ohm recorded six saves, playing all 110 in goal, while Taylor placed three of her five shots on target.
