INDIANAPOLIS, IND. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis volleyball team had no answer for Indianapolis on Saturday as the host Greyhounds hit a season-high .320 en route to a 25-19, 25-19, 25-22 win over the Tritons in Great Lakes Valley Conference action.
UMSL, led by senior
Erin Walker's nine kills and 13 digs, saw a three-match win streak snapped with the loss and falls to 4-6 overall, including 1-1 in the GLVC. UIndy improves to 4-7 and 2-0 in the league.
Greyhounds junior Becca Lira paced her squad with 20 kills, hitting .500.

Lexi Rogers each added seven kills, while senior
Lindsay Meyer recorded 21 assists and eight digs. Freshmen
Alivia Brinker and
Olivia Gillum tallied 15 and 12 digs, respectively. Brinker registered 12 of her digs in the third set and also had a service ace that pulled the Tritons within 18-17.
Walker recorded five of her kills in the opening set on eight attacks with no errors as the Tritons hit .314. However, the Greyhounds hit .405 with Lira collecting eight kills.
UMSL then combined to hit just .120 combined in the final two frames.
Both teams recorded three blocks.
The Tritons return to action on Friday and will play at home for the first time this season, hosting Wisconsin-Parkside at 7 p.m.
