ROMEOVILLE, ILL. – Four different players scored for the University of Missouri-St. Louis women's soccer team on Sunday as the Tritons recorded a 4-0 Great Lakes Valley Conference victory at Lewis.
Freshman
McKayla Harder scored her fourth goal of the season just three minutes and 45 seconds into the game, getting the loose ball in front of the net after hitting the post on the chip in.
Sophomore
Emily Mosier gave UMSL a 2-0 lead in the 20
th minute with her first collegiate goal, heading in senior
Sidney Allen's corner kick.
Junior
Miriam Taylor made it 3-0 Tritons in the 57
th minute after she took the deep pass from senior
Mary Hoffmann and faked around the goalie.
Senior
Jessica Mincher rounded out the scoring on a blast from the 15-yard line in the closing seconds.
UMSL improves to 4-1-2 overall, including 3-1-2 in the GLVC, while Lewis slips to 5-3-1 and 3-2-1 in the GLVC.
The Tritons have had 11 different players score a goal this season and have 19 goals as a team, one more than last year's 18.
Senior
Megan Ohm played 74 minutes in goal, making three saves. UMSL outshot the Flyers, 20-6, including 10-3 in shots on goal.
The Tritons are back on the field Friday night, hosting Drury at 5 p.m.
