KIRKSVILLE, MO. – The No. 18 ranked University of Missouri-St. Louis men's soccer team had a four-game win streak snapped on Friday afternoon in a 2-1 loss at Truman State in Great Lakes Valley Conference play.
The Bulldogs scored the game-winner in the 74
th minute.
UMSL falls to 10-4-1 overall, including 9-3-1 in the GLVC, while Truman improves to 6-6-3 and 4-6-2 in the league.
The Bulldogs, which outshot the Tritons, 14-9, got on the board at the six minute mark before senior
Joe Rund tied it up in the 34
th minute with his first UMSL collegiate goal with the assist to senior
Clay Stocker.
Both teams finished with five shots on goal.
UMSL returns home on Sunday to host Quincy at 2:30 p.m.
