KIRKSVILLE, MO. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis women's soccer team battled No. 19 ranked Truman State to a 0-0 double overtime draw on Friday afternoon in Great Lakes Valley Conference play.
 
The two teams combined for 15 shots in the defensive battle with the Tritons getting off eight of those shots, while Truman held a 4-2 edge in shots on goal.
 
UMSL moves to 9-3-1 both overall and in the GLVC with the tie, while the Bulldogs are now 11-1-3, including 10-1-2 in the league. It was just the second time Truman has been shut out this season and the third for the Tritons.
 
Freshman keeper Emily Rish played all 110 minutes between the posts, making four saves, while senior Kirsten Crabtree recorded three shots, placing one on goal.
 
The Tritons return home on Sunday to host Quincy on Senior Day at Noon.
