SPRINGFIELD, ILL. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis volleyball team hit just .084 a 3-1 Great Lakes Valley Conference loss at Illinois Springfield Friday night. The Prairie Stars won by set scores of 25-17, 25-20-, 20-25, 25-22.
The loss drops the Tritons to 13-9 overall, including 7-5 in the GLVC, while UIS moves its ledger to 8-17 and 1-11 in the league with its first conference win of the season.

Madyson Abeyta recorded two aces and a kill to help the Tritons to a 6-1 run to end the third set victory, in which UMSL erased a pair of four-point deficits earlier.
