ST. LOUIS, MO. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis volleyball team saw a four-match win streak snapped on Saturday, while suffering its first home loss of the year in a 27-25, 27-25, 25-18 loss to visiting Truman State in Great Lakes Valley Conference play.
The Tritons fall to 11-5 overall, including 6-3 in the GLVC, while Truman moves to 7-11 and 6-3 in the league.
Match Highlights
-UMSL fended off two Truman set points in the opener before the Bulldogs pulled it out, ending the frame on a block. Truman owned a 5-1 advantage in blocks, limiting the Tritons to .160 hitting despite 18 kills. Junior

-UMSL rallied back from a 23-19 deficit in the second set, tying it at 23-23 on a
Lexi Rogers kill and went ahead 24-23 on a kill from freshman
Selena Nolte. Both teams then fought off a set point before Truman scored three straight on UMSL attack errors to get the win.
-Four Triton attack errors to start the third set helped Truman build an early 11-3 lead.
