ST. LOUIS, MO. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis volleyball team dropped a 25-21, 25-22, 25-19 nonconference match to Lindenwood on Tuesday night.
UMSL slips to 13-11with the loss, while Lindenwood improves to 11-14, avenging an earlier 3-0 loss to the Tritons this season.
UMSL, playing at home for the first time since October 8, was plagued with eight reception and five service errors and hit just .073.
Senior
Lexi Rogers recorded eight kills to lead the offense, committing just one attack error for a .389 hitting percentage, while also registering three blocks.
The Lions, which hit .123, held a 9-8 advantage in blocks.
Junior
Madyson Abeyta recorded 14 assists, while junior
Danielle Waedekin tallied 20 digs and two service aces. Sophomore
Kristen Uradzionek finished with five blocks, while freshman
Kylie Rudsinski followed with four blocks to go with six kills.
UMSL returns to GLVC play on Friday, hosting Southern Indiana at 7 p.m.
