ST. LOUIS, MO. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis volleyball team hit .293 en route to a 25-21, 25-21, 25-20 victory over Southern Indiana Friday night in Great Lakes Valley Conference action.
The Tritons improve to 14-11 overall, including 8-6 in the GLVC, while Southern Indiana slips to 9-17, 3-11 in the league.
Match Highlights
- UMSL hit .310 in the first set with 17 kills, highlighted by five kills in seven swings with no errors from senior

Morgan Childers added a pair of service aces in the first set.
- Senior
Gaylnn Jones recorded five kills in the second set. UMSL led by eight twice, including 18-10, before a 9-4 run by the Screaming Eagles trimmed the advantage to 22-19. However, Jones scored two of the Tritons' final three points.
- UMSL hit .371 in the third set, with 18 kills, while freshman
Kendall Buchman dished out nine assists.
