ROLLA, MO. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis volleyball clinched a spot in the GLVC Tournament Friday night with a 3-1 victory at Missouri S&T. The Tritons won by set scores of 25-22, 25-19, 23-25, 25-21.
The Tritons improve to 17-11 overall with their fourth straight win, including 11-6 in the GLVC, while Missouri S&T slips to 10-19 and 5-12 in the league. UMSL's 11th league win is the program's most since the 2011 team won 13.
The Tritons hit .257 as a team and had three players in double digit kills, including freshmen
Kylie Rudsinski (14) and
Selena Nolte (12). Senior
Gaylnn Jones added 10 kills, while also tallying 12 digs for the double-double.
Junior
Danielle Waedekin finished with 21 digs, moving into second place on the single season charts with 551 this season.

Kendall Buchman each dished out 23 assists to direct the offense, while sophomore
Kristen Uradzionek led the Tritons at the net with six blocks, helping UMSL to an 11-10 advantage in that category.
The Tritons close out the regular season tomorrow at Drury in a 1 p.m. match.
