KIRKSVILLE, MO. – University of Missouri-St. Louis senior All-American
Hannah Perryman put her name atop another NCAA Division II career record, breaking the all-time strikeouts mark on Sunday afternoon at Great Lakes Valley Conference foe Truman State.

Perryman struck out the Bulldogs' Brooke VunCannon to end the fourth inning in the nightcap of the twinbill for her 1,540
th career strikeout, surpassing Quincy's Torie Bunzell, who tallied 1,539 strikeouts from 2008-11.

Perryman finished the game with eight Ks as the Tritons posted a 3-1 victory to bounce back from game one's 1-0 setback. Perryman now sits at 1,543 career strikeouts, which ranks 11
th all-time in all of NCAA's three divisions, with all 10 individuals ahead of her coming at the DI level.

No. 6 ranked UMSL moves to 37-4 overall, including 15-3 in the GLVC, with the split, while Truman State is now 22-10 and 14-4 in the league.

UMSL travels to Drury and Missouri S&T next Saturday and Sunday.

GAME 1: Truman 1, UMSL 0Perryman had a 22-game win streak in the circle (ties the 10
th longest in NCAA DII single season history) snapped despite a solid pitching effort. Perryman allowed just two hits, both bunt singles, and struck out 10. The run charged to her was unearned and came in the first inning as Christa Reisinger led off with a bunt single and advanced to second on a throwing error by Triton catcher
Serena Olson. Reisinger was then sacrificed to third and scored on a passed ball.

The Tritons finished with five hits and broke up the no-hit bit in the fifth with a two-out infield single from freshman
Alicia Shivers. UMSL then loaded the bases after an Olson single and a walk to senior
Erin Walker, but were unable to score.

The Tritons followed suit in the sixth, loading the bases with two outs, but leaving all runners on the base paths.

GAME 2: UMSL 3, Truman 1The Tritons scored twice in the top of the seventh to secure the win with Walker's infield RBI double proving to be the game-winner, allowing freshman
Carly Kingery to score. Walker then scored an insurance run as junior
Alex Stupek drove her home with an RBI single.

Perryman earned the complete game victory, allowing one run on five hits, while striking out eight and issuing just one walk to improve to 32-2 on the season.

The Bulldogs broke a scoreless game in the third inning, but Kingery evened the score in the fourth with an RBI single to score junior
Ryan Logan, who reached on a two-out double.

Kingery finished with two hits, an RBI and a run scored, while Stupek and freshman
Reagan Osborn both added two hits. UMSL tallied 11 as a team.
