ST. LOUIS, MO. – Goals from senior

Emily Mosier helped the University of Missouri-St. Louis women's soccer team to a 2-0 win over William Jewell on Sunday afternoon in Great Lakes Valley Conference action.
The Tritons raise their record to 4-2 both overall and in the GLVC, while William Jewell dips to 1-5-2 and 1-4-1 in the league.
Taylor netted her third goal of the season early in the contest, shooting from 10 yards out on the right side in the 10
th minute on a through ball from freshman
Rose Crabtree.
Mosier then added an insurance goal in the 65
th minute, picking up the loose ball in the box for her second tally of the season.
The Tritons controlled the game offensively, owning a 27-9 advantage in shots, including 8-4 in shots on goal. Mosier placed both her shot attempts on goal, while sophomore
McKayla Harder and senior
Kirsten Crabtree took six and five shots, respectively.
Freshman
Emily Rish and sophomore
McKenzie DeRouen combined for the shutout, each protecting the area between the posts for 45 minutes. DeRouen, who spent the second half on the field, recorded three saves, while Rish had one save in the first half.
UMSL travels to Missouri S&T on Friday at 5 p.m.
