ROLLA, MO. – Senior
Taylor Tosovsky scored her first goal of the season with eight minutes to play to help the University of Missouri-St. Louis women's soccer team to a 2-1 victory at Missouri S&T Friday night in Great Lakes Valley Conference action.

UMSL improves to 5-2 overall and in the GLVC, while Missouri S&T dips to 1-6 and 1-5 in the league.
Lyon scored her first collegiate goal in the first half as both teams got on the board within 68 seconds of each other. Lyon successfully converted UMSL's first penalty kick attempt of the season at the 41:19 mark for a 1-0 lead, but it was quickly erased at the 42:27 mark as the Miners scored on a corner kick.
The Tritons recorded 15 shots, placing 10 on goal. Senior
Kayla Delgado took four shots with two landing on target, while seniors
Miriam Taylor and
Kirsten Crabtree each placed both of their shots on goal.
Missouri S&T took 13 shots with five on goal. Freshman
Emily Rish recorded two saves in the first half, while sophomore
McKenzie DeRouen also made two saves in the second half, while picking up her first win in goal.
UMSL wraps up its roadswing at Drury on Sunday at Noon.
