ST. LOUIS, MO. – Junior
Alex Miner recorded 12 kills, three aces and three blocks to help the University of Missouri-St. Louis volleyball team to a 3-1 win over visiting Quincy on Friday night in Great Lakes Valley Conference action.
Miner also hit at a .320 clip as the Tritons picked up their sixth straight win.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- A late 5-0 run in the first set, which featured three kills from sophomore
Kylie Rudsinski, helped UMSL to a 19-17 lead before they scored four straight to end the frame.
- Quincy ended the second set on an 8-2 run, which included five straight that gave the Hawks set point.
- Back-to-back aces from Miner in the third set gave UMSL an 11-7 lead, while an ace from sophomore
Morgan Childers made it 16-11. Quincy later scored five unanswered to take a 20-19 lead, but back-to-back kills from sophomore
Selena Nolte helped the Tritons to the win.
- A 5-1 UMSL run gave the Tritons match point in the fourth set before Quincy reeled off three straight to tie it at 24-24 before two kills from Miner ended the match.
STATISTICALLY SPEAKING
- Rudsinski and Nolte each added 11 kills each.

Maddy Russell followed with 10 kills and 12 digs for her fifth straight double-double.

Madyson Abeyta dished out 37 assists and added 11 digs for her fifth double-double of the season.

Danielle Waedekin recorded 23 digs, including 11 in the opening set.
- UMSL hit .164, while Quincy hit .140 and held an 11-6 advantage in blocks.
- UMSL finished with six service aces and six service errors, while Quincy recorded seven aces.
