ST. LOUIS, MO. – Senior
Pat Ries tallied a goal and an assist as the University of Missouri-St. Louis men's soccer team posted a 4-0 Great Lakes Valley Conference win over William Jewell Friday night.
All four goals were scored by different players with senior
Pim Boonstra and juniors
Nick Harper and
Aldin Sabotic all getting in the scoring column.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Boonstra put the Tritons on the board in the seventh minute as he scored his second goal of the season. Junior
Oscar Gordillo passed the ball on the left side to Ries, who then found Boonstra.
- Ries knocked in his team and GLVC-leading eighth goal of the season just 1:29 into the second half on the through ball from junior
Dom Barczewski. Ries fired from inside the box into the right pocket of the net.
- Sophomore
Donald Link found Harper in the box on a free kick in the 55
th minute to make it 3-0, while Sabotic scored off the cross from freshman
Kyle Coleman in the 69
th minute.
STATISTICALLY SPEAKING
- UMSL placed six of its 19 shots on goal with 12 different players taking at least one shot.
- Senior keeper
Jake Schmidt picked up his third shutout, making four saves in all 90 minutes.
