ST. LOUIS, MO. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis men's basketball closed out its non-conference schedule on Sunday with a 77-64 loss to Lindenwood.
The visiting Lions shot 48.9 percent, including 56.5 percent in the second half, while UMSL was limited to 39.3 percent shooting. The Tritons, which end their non-conference schedule with a 5-4 record, was also just 12-of-25 (48 percent) from the free-throw line, while Lindenwood was 25-of-28 (89.3 percent).
The loss was the first at home for UMSL this season with the Tritons falling to 4-1 in the Mark Twain Building.

How it Happened
Lindenwood jumped out to a 10-3 lead and owned a 29-22 halftime lead. The Lions put the lead into double figures three minutes into the second half. The Lions went 20-of-22 at the charity stripe in the second half, including 12-of-12 in the final 1:49.
