LIBERTY, MO. – Senior
Alex Stupek recorded three hits on Friday to become the program's all-time career leader in that category with 236 as the University of Missouri-St. Louis softball team swept William Jewell in Great Lakes Valley Conference action. The Tritons took the opener, 14-3, in six innings, before a 5-0 win in the nightcap.
Stupek recorded a home run and two triples, with her second triple coming in the second inning of game two to give her the record.
UMSL improves to 23-9 overall, including 5-3 in the GLVC, while William Jewell slips to 12-16 and 4-6 in the league.

Serena Olson drove in run number 10 with a two-out RBI single in the fifth. It was her 35
th RBI of the season.
-A two-run home run from Walker in the sixth highlighted a four-run, two-hit, one-error frame.
Statistically Speaking
- UMSL out-hit the Cardinals, 11-6.
- Walker finished with two hits and five RBIs, while Stupek finished with two hits and three RBIs.

Reagan Osborn reached in all four plate appearances, recording a single in her first three at-bats before drawing a walk. The Tritons were issued eight walks.
- Kingery tossed the complete-game victory, recording six strikeouts to two walks.

Game Highlights
-UMSL broke the scoreless game in the top of seventh, scoring all five runs with two outs. Osborn drove in the first run, while two more came home on a Cardinals error before back-to-back RBI singles from Matthies and sophomore
Serena Olson.
Statistically Speaking

CoCo Caraway tossed the complete game shutout, surrendering just four hits, while walking two and striking out one.
