KENOSHA, WIS. – After being held without a shot attempt in the first half, the University of Missouri-St. Louis women's soccer team found the back of the net twice in the second half to garner a 2-1 victory at Wisconsin-Parkside on Sunday, picking its first Great Lakes Valley Conference victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Sophomore
Ally Milnes scored her first collegiate goal three minutes and 30 seconds into the second half, breaking the scoreless tie, on a free kick from 35 yards out. It was the Tritons' third shot attempt of the game after being held without a shot during the first 45 minutes of play.
- Junior
Lexi Norton added an insurance goal in the 71
st minute, firing from five yards outside the box off a pass from junior
Taylor Andert.
- UW-Parkside avoided the shutout with a goal in the 88
th minute.
STATISTICALLY SPEAKING
- UMSL recorded five shots, landing three on goal, while the Rangers took 13 shots, placing six on target. Junior
McKenzie DeRouen faced eight shots, making four saves in 73 minutes played.
- Freshman
Allysiah Belt took a team-high two shots in her first collegiate start. Both came in the first 2:27 of the second half, but went wide.
