SPRINGFIELD, MO. – Drury used a season-high 15 blocks to limit the University of Missouri-St. Louis volleyball team to a season-low .109 hitting on Saturday as the Tritons suffered a 3-1 Great Lakes Valley Conference road loss on Saturday.
Redshirt sophomore
Maddy Russell recorded a season-high 15 kills and notched her second double-double of the season by adding 10 digs.

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS
- UMSL fended off three Drury set points in the first set as part of a 5-1 run that erased a 23-19 deficit and pulled the Tritons within 24-23. Russell had back-to-back kills during that stretch.
- UMSL erased a 3-0 deficit to open the third set using four unanswered points to take a 7-5 lead it would not relinquish. A Panthers attack error gave UMSL set point, but the home team would record the next three points to make it 24-21 before a kill from sophomore
Amanda Vollmer ended the frame.
STATISTICALLY SPEAKING
- Russell and Vollmer combined to hit .315, while the rest of the team hit. 000. Vollmer equaled a season-high eight kills and added three blocks.
- The Tritons tallied nine blocks, including four from junior
Alex Miner. The Panthers hit .195.

Payton Kennelly finished with 18 assists and seven digs, while senior
Madyson Abeyta added 17 assists and seven digs.

Morgan Childers and junior
Alivia Brinker each had 11 digs.
