ST. LOUIS, MO. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis women's soccer team outshot Illinois Springfield, 11-3, but couldn't find the finishing touch in a 1-0 loss Sunday afternoon in Great Lakes Valley Conference action.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Illinois Springfield garnered the game-winner in the 25
th minute, scoring after intercepting a pass on the other end and sending it up the field.
- The UMSL defense limited the Prairie Stars to just one shot attempt in the final 45 minutes, while offensively the Tritons took six shots.
