ST. LOUIS, MO. – Senior
Jordan Fletcher recorded her 1,000
th career point on Thursday night as the University of Missouri-St. Louis women's basketball team rolled past crosstown rival Maryville, 83-64, in Great Lakes Valley Conference action.
Fletcher, who finished with 19 points, becomes the 15
th player in program history to achieve the feat and brings her career total to 1,017 points.
Junior
Kaitlynn Henning also scored 19 points, bettering her career-high for the second straight game.

How it Happened
UMSL made 11-of-12 field goals in the first quarter en route to a 28-14 lead and extended it to 43-27 at the break. The Tritons took their largest lead of the game with 6:49 to play in the third quarter at 54-29 on a pair of Henning free throws and led 58-39 after three full frames.
Maryville got within 12 points with 90 seconds to play, but UMSL made all eight free throws to seal the game.

Sammie Sproul scored 13 of her career-high 16 points in the first half and was one of five players in double figures for the Tritons, which shot 53.7 percent.
- Junior
Arielle Jackson added 13 points and dished out five assists, while senior
Shawnta Johnson tallied 10 points, eight rebounds and six assists.
- UMSL held a 33-32 rebounding advantage despite the Saints owning a 12-7 edge on the offensive end. Fletcher also pulled down eight rebounds.
- UMSL recorded 20 assists on 29 field goals. Sproul added five.
- The Tritons scored 20 points on Maryville's 13 turnovers.
