ST. LOUIS, MO. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis men's basketball team snapped a two-game losing streak in decisive fashion Thursday night by securing a 79-49 victory over Rockhurst in Great Lakes Valley Conference action.
Freshman
Anthony Hughes scored a season-high 18 points and grabbed nine rebounds, while senior
D.J. White came off the bench to add 12 points on 6-of-7 shooting and pulled down seven rebounds.
The Tritons shot a season-high 54.9 percent in the win and made 16-of-19 free throws.

How it Happened
The Tritons ended the first half on a 10-2 run to take a 35-24 lead into halftime after shooting 59.1 percent in the first half. Rockhurst had jumped out to a 14-9 lead to open the game.
Eight straight by the Hawks got the visiting team within 53-40 midway through the second half, but the Tritons followed with a 14-3 run.
