INDIANAPOLIS, IND. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis volleyball team hit at a .356 clip en route to a 25-13, 25-15, 25-22 win over Northwood at the Midwest Region Crossover. The win by the Tritons snapped an eight-match losing streak.

How It Happened:
- SET 1: UMSL hit .750, recording 15 kills in 20 swings with no errors. Junior Selena Nolte accounted for five of those kills in six attempts. The Tritons trailed 6-4 before scoring five unanswered, which included two kills and a block from junior Kylie Rudsinski, to take a 9-6 lead they would not relinquish.
- SET 2: UMSL limited the Timberwolves to -.028 hitting.
- SET 3: In a frame that saw 15 ties and seven lead changes, it was the Tritons to prevailed, scoring five straight to garner the match victory, erasing a 21-19 deficit.
Statistically Speaking
- Nolte finished with a match-high 13 kills, while four other players had at least five kills. The Tritons totaled 40 as a team.
- Setters Cara Ferchen and Payton Kennelly had 19 and 18 assists, respectively.
- Freshman Megan Woll tallied 15 digs.
- UMSL held a 5-2 blocking advantage and limited the Timberwolves to .081 hitting. Nolte and senior Alex Miner had two blocks each.
