ST. LOUIS, MO. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis volleyball team saw visiting McKendree take a 25-20, 25-21, 25-19 win on Tuesday night in Great Lakes Valley Conference play.
 
The Tritons were playing their lone home game sandwiched between nine road matches.
 
Records: UMSL (7-11, 3-7 GLVC), McKendree (10-8, 6-3 GLVC)
 
How It Happened

• UMSL came out and took a 17-10 lead in the first set, but saw the Bearcats end the frame with a 15-3 run, which included a string of eight straight points.
• McKendree hit .223 in the contest and recorded six service aces, while UMSL hit .141.

 
Statistically Speaking

• Junior Selena Nolte recorded 10 kills.
• Freshman Karlyn Hannewald tallied season-bests of nine kills and five digs in her first collegiate start.
• Freshman Cara Ferchen finished with 27 assists.
• Senior Alivia Brinker and freshman Megan Woll had 16 and 15 digs, respectively.
• Junior Amanda Vollmer had a team-best three blocks as UMSL held a 6-5 advantage in that category.
