CLEVELAND, MISS. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis men's and women's swimming teams combined for three school records and four NCAA DII B-cuts at the Delta State Christmas Invite, held Saturday-Tuesday.
The women bettered two school marks and also got an NCAA Division II B-cut time from junior
Merel Visser in the 500-yard freestyle.
On the men's side, junior
Gabo Jimenez broke a 30-year-old mark in the 50-yard freestyle, placing third in a time of 20.32, bettering Stuart Vogt's record of 20.45 in 1988. Jimenez's time was also a DII B-cut.

- 200-yard individual medley: UMSL had two in the top-8, including junior Amber Visser (sixth in 2:07.75) and junior Aga Blocka (eighth in 2:09.52)
- 50-yard freestyle: UMSL had two in the top-8, including freshmen Bella Kudanovych (seventh in 25.28) and Seela Wang (eighth in 25.43)
- 100-yard breaststroke: Amber Visser was fourth in 1:05.88
