KENOSHA, WIS. – Senior
Steven Davis broke out of an offensive slump Saturday afternoon by equaling a career-high 26 points to help the University of Missouri-St. Louis men's basketball team to a 57-49 road win at Wisconsin-Parkside in Great Lakes Valley Conference action.
Davis went 5-of-9 from three-point range, bettering his scoring output from the last five games combined (24 points). He also picked up three steals on the afternoon.

How it Happened
UW-Parkside used a 13-2 run over the final 6:30 of the first half to take a 26-25 lead into halftime. The Tritons led by 10 three different times in opening 20 minutes after jumping out to an 11-3 lead four minutes in on the strength of 3-of-4 shooting from three-point range.
Davis scored five straight for UMSL midway through the second half to give UMSL a 41-39 lead it would not relinquish. After a pair of six-point leads by the Tritons, the Flyers would get within 51-49 with 2:25 to play, but UMSL would score the final six points of the game.

- UMSL took advantage of advantage of 17 Ranger turnovers, outscoring the hosts, 25-8, in points off turnovers. The Tritons had 11 miscues.
