ST. CHARLES, MO. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis softball team ran its win streak to six games on Saturday by shutting out Quincy twice in Great Lakes Valley Conference play. The Tritons won the game one pitcher's duel, 1-0, before a seven-run inning in the nightcap led to an 8-0 win.

Andee Tiffee limited the Hawks to a combined eight hits, each recording a shutout.

Reagan Osborn's sac fly in the sixth inning accounted for the game's lone run. Freshman
Sapphire Munoz scored on that play after reaching on a walk.
The two teams combined to leave 18 runners on base, including 10 by the Tritons. UMSL left the bases loaded in the second and third frames.
Quincy out-hit the Tritons, 6-5. Junior
Chelsea Martinez recorded two hits.
Kingery tossed the complete game winner, striking out five without issuing a walk.
Game 2: UMSL 8, Quincy 0 (5 inn.)
The Tritons exploded for seven runs in the fifth inning to end the game after taking a 1-0 lead in the third on a fielder's choice RBI from Martinez.
The fifth inning two run singles from Kingery and junior
Serena Olson. Kingery tallied two of UMSL's seven hits, while Olson drew a pair of walks. Osborn scored two runs.
Tiffee picked up the complete game, two-hit shutout. She struck out seven and walked one.
