KANSAS CITY, MO. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis softball team ran its win streak to 10 games on Monday with two wins at William Jewell in Great Lakes Valley Conference play. The Tritons earned a 10-2 six-inning win in the opener, before pulling out a 1-0 victory in the 11-inning nightcap.

UMSL tallied four long balls in 10 hits, including two off the bat of senior
Jennah Perryman, en route to the win.
Perryman knocked out her first home run in the first inning and added a two-run shot in the sixth that made it 9-0. The Tritons scored five runs on three hits and two Cardinals errors in the sixth, which also included a solo home run from junior
Serena Olson.

Chelsea Martinez added the other round tripper with a two-run blast in the fourth that gave UMSL a 3-0 lead.

Carly Kingery earned the complete-game victory, allowing just three hits. She tossed a perfect game through four and one-thirds of an inning until allowing a one-out walk in the fifth. William Jewell then led off the sixth inning with a solo home run to break up the no-hit bid.
Perryman was 3-for-4 at the plate with three RBI and three runs scored, while Olson was 2-for-3 with two RBI, three runs and a walk. Martinez added two hits and three RBI.

Junior
Reagan Osborn delivered the game-winning RBI single in the 11
th with two outs to give UMSL the win. The hit scored redshirt sophomore
Morgan Hill, who led off with a single.
The Tritons, playing their longest game of the season, left 11 runners stranded before Osborn's hit, including a combined seven in the seventh, eighth and 10
th innings.
Sophomore
Andee Tiffee recorded her second straight complete game victory, allowing just three hits, while striking out 11 and walking just one.
UMSL recorded 12 hits, including two each from Osborn, Perryman, Kingery and junior
Lizzy Miller.
Up Next: UMSL will close out the home portion of its schedule this weekend, beginning on Saturday in a Noon doubleheader against Missouri S&T.
