Box Score EVANSVILLE, IND. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis baseball team lost a 6-5 decision at Southern Indiana on Tuesday night on a one-out, walk-off double. It was the third walk-off loss for the Tritons in their last five games.
UMSL lost despite out-hitting the Screaming Eagles, 12-4, with the hosts also committing three errors.

The Screaming Eagles scored the game's final two runs en route to the win, knotting the score at 5-5 in the seventh on a wild pitch.
USI jumped out to a 2-0 lead with single runs in the first and third before an RBI double from freshman
Josh Shoemaker in the fourth got the Tritons on the board.
UMSL then plated three runs on four hits in the fifth to cap a string of four unanswered runs and take a 4-2 lead. Senior

Jarrett O'Brien picked up an RBI on a fielder's choice.
The Screaming Eagles' second homer of the game in the bottom of the fifth, which came after a two-out error, knotted the score again, while UMSL re-took the lead in the seventh on another RBI Hilpert.
Junior
Tom DeCero led UMSL at the plate by going 3-for-4, while Monti and fellow senior
Cooper Vinz had two hits each.
Redshirt sophomore
Christian Thrasher went three innings in the start, allowing two runs on two hits, while striking out five and walking two. Redshirt sophomore
Jason Stuckmeyer surrendered three runs, but just one earned, on only one hit in four innings, while redshirt sophomore
Dylan Hoelscher was tagged with the loss in one and one-third of an inning.
