Maya Ware converted a second half penalty kick to help the University of Missouri-St. Louis women's soccer team to a 1-0 win over Drury Sunday afternoon in Great Lakes Valley Conference.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Ware's first collegiate goal came in the 55th minute after the Drury goalie handled the ball outside the box.
- UMSL appeared to have taken a 1-0 lead early in the first half as junior Rose Crabtree found the back of the net, but the Tritons were called offsides – one of four times in the first half.
STATISTICALLY SPEAKING
- Ware finished with three shots, including two on goal.
- Crabtree also had three shots, with one on target.
- UMSL outshot the Panthers, 10-6, including 3-1 in shots on goal.
- The Tritons had an 8-4 advantage in corner kicks.
