LIBERTY, MO. – William Jewell scored two goals in a span of 94 seconds to rally past the visiting University of Missouri-St. Louis women's soccer team, 2-1, on Friday night in Great Lakes Valley Conference play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After 80 minutes of scoreless play, senior Lee Strande scored her first collegiate goal in the 81st minute, one-timing the pass from freshman Maya Ware off the right side into the deep pocket.
- The lead would stand for just 11 seconds, however, before the Cardinals tied the game, before netting the game-winner at 82:07.
- Both teams got one shot on goal in the first half, while William Jewell had a 3-1 advantage in corner kicks.
- UMSL came out firing in the second half, taking six shots in the first six minutes with three landing on goal.
STATISTICALLY SPEAKING
- The Tritons finished with 18 shots, 16 of which came in the second half, and placed 11 shots on goal, while William Jewell took 13 shots, placing five on target.
- Ware led UMSL with four shots, landing three on goal.
- Sophomore Amber Hayes made three saves in goal, while WJC freshman Kaylie Kappelmann made a career-high 10 saves.
