ALLENDALE, MICH. – No. 6 ranked Grand Valley State proved to be too much, handing the University of Missouri-St. Louis women's soccer team a 7-0 setback on Sunday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Grand Valley State, the NCAA DII national runner-up last season, scored five first half goals and added two more in the second half.
- The Lakers took 38 shots, landing 13 on goal, while the Tritons were limited to two shots, both of which were on target. Graduate student Sydney Bloch and junior Rose Crabtree each had a shot, both coming in the first half.
