ST. LOUIS, MO. –The University of Missouri-St. Louis women's soccer team won its second straight game on Sunday, posting 2-0 victory over No. 24 ranked Rockhurst in Great Lakes Valley Conference action.

HOW IT HAPPENED
For the second straight game, both Triton goals were scored by freshmen.
Courtney Schreiber gave UMSL an early lead, finding the back of the net after a scramble in the box in the third minute. Then less than two minutes before half, the advantage grew to 2-0 after
Casey Clark beat the defender for her first goal of the season. Clark took the pass into the box from senior
Melanie Gubicya, who stole the ball from the Rockhurst player and crossed it inside.
The visiting Hawks outshot the Tritons, 14-7, including 9-3 in the second half and nearly got on the board with 23 minutes, but had a shot hit off the right post.
Despite being outshot, UMSL had a 5-4 advantage in shots on goal and a 4-3 advantage in corner kicks.
STATISTICALLY SPEAKING
Seven different players had a shot for the Tritons with five of those players landing their shot on goal.

Amber Hayes made four saves in goal while recording her second straight clean sheet.
