ST. LOUIS, MO. –The University of Missouri-St. Louis women's soccer team won its third straight game on Friday night, posting a 1-0 victory over Southwest Baptist in the first GLVC meeting between the two programs.

HOW IT HAPPENED
After a scoreless 83 minutes, junior
Sarah Lyon put the Tritons on the board, picking up the loose ball outside the box and firing it past the defender into the far pocket for her third tally of the season.
The Tritons held a 17-5 advantage in shots, including a 9-1 edge in shots on goal. The Southwest Baptist defense forced UMSL into offsides 12 times.
STATISTICALLY SPEAKING
Lyon finished with four shots, including three on goal, while freshman
Casey Clark came off the bench to put two of her three shots on target.
