ST. LOUIS, MO. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis volleyball team opened the home portion of its schedule with a 25-11, 25-22, 25-19 win over William Jewell on Friday night in Great Lakes Valley Conference play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- UMSL raced out to a 7-1 lead in the opening frame, before expanding it to 12-3 on sophomore
Charlotte Richards' sixth kill of the set. She finished with nine in that set.
- UMSL ended the second frame with a 7-2 run after trailing 20-18. The Tritons overcame four service errors in that set by totaling 19 kills.
- UMSL finished the match hitting .280, totaling 52 kills with three player in double figures, while limiting the Cardinals to .076 hitting and just 23 kills.
STATISTICALLY SPEAKING
- Sophomore
Charlotte Richards finished with a match-high 17 kills, senior
Kylie Rudsinski and freshman
Raquel Kessler added 13 kills each.

Kaileen Herman tallied 44 assists and 11 digs.

Selena Nolte had three blocks each. William Jewell had a slight 8-6 advantage in blocks.
