ST. LOUIS, MO. – The No. 25 ranked University of Missouri-St. Louis volleyball team had three players in double digit kills on Saturday as they defeated visiting Bellarmine, 25-22, 23-25, 25-21, 25-17 in Great Lakes Valley Conference play. It was the last conference meeting between the two programs as Bellarmine will move onto NCAA DI next season.
With the victory, UMSL picked up its 23
rd win of the season, recording the program's most wins since the 2008 team finished with 23 victories.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- UMSL hit .261 in the opening set, committing just three errors, while outblocking the Knights, 4-0.
- Bellarmine opened the second set with a 4-0 lead and closed the frame with three straight points after UMSL had battled back from a 22-19 deficit to take a 23-22 lead.
- The Tritons forced Belllarmine into 12 hitting errors in the third set victory.
- Set four was all UMSL as the Tritons limited the Knights to just nine kills and .094 hitting. Meanwhile the Tritons hit .364 with 16 kills.
- UMSL finished the contest hitting. 285, while Bellarmine hit .161. UMSL held a 10-3 advantage in blocks to help overcome nine service errors.
STATISTICALLY SPEAKING
- Sophomore
Charlotte Richards tallied a team-high 19 kills.
- Senior
Selena Nolte added 15 kills, hitting .367. She now has 1,376 career kills, needing 27 to become the program's all-time leader and break the mark of 1,402 held by Carla Addoh (1987-90).
- Senior
Kylie Rudsinski added 11 kills and four blocks.
- Junior
Kaileen Herman dished out 46 assists and added 10 digs, while surpassing 1,000 assists on the season.
- Sophomore
Megan Woll recorded 22 digs.
