ST. LOUIS, MO. – Five players scored in double figures on Friday night for the University of Missouri-St. Louis men's basketball team as the Tritons posted an 83-51 victory over Central Christian College of the Bible.

HOW IT HAPPENED
UMSL jumped out to a 14-2 lead five minutes in and built it to a 35-8 advantage at the 7:11 mark on a three-pointer from redshirt sophomore
Kellen King. The Tritons took a 43-23 lead into halftime after owning a 14-0 advantage in second chance points on 11 offensive rebounds.
UMSL finished with a 52-31 rebounding advantage, including a 21-2 edge on the offensive end and scored 24 second chance points.
The Tritons shot 41.5 percent from the field, while the Saints shot at a 37.8 percent clip and had seven blocked shots.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Senior Jalen Wilkins-McCoy (17 points, 10 rebounds) and redshirt sophomore Kellen King (11 points, 10 rebounds) each had a double-double. Wilkins-McCoy added four assists and three steals, while King tallied two blocks.
- Junior Jose Grubbs followed with 14 points, while redshirt junior Kenny Berry tossed in 10 points to go with five boards, three assists and a pair of steals.
- Redshirt senior Jason Towery added 12 points and seven rebounds.
UP NEXT
UMSL will host its Thanksgiving Classic next Tuesday and Wednesday, hosting Ohio Dominican and Lincoln, respectively. Games start at 1 p.m. both days, while Maryville rounds out the tournament field.
