ST. LOUIS, MO. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis men's basketball team shot a season-high 52.3 percent from the field en route to a 93-69 victory over Lindenwood on Tuesday night in the Great Lakes Valley Conference opener.
The Tritons had four players in double figures, led by senior
Jalen Wilkins-McCoy's career-high 22 points.
The win was the sixth straight for UMSL.

HOW IT HAPPENED
UMSL led 42-25 at the half after leading by as many as 23 points in the opening 20 minutes.
The Lions got within 12 points in the opening two minutes of the second half after a 5-0 start and pulled within 14 points at the eight-minute mark, but would get no closer.
Lindenwood shot 42.4 percent, but connected at just 23.1 percent (6-of-26) from three-point range.
UMSL edged the Lions, 36-35, in the rebounding column.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Wilkins-McCoy was 8-of-10 from the field and 6-of-7 at the free-throw line, while adding nine rebounds.
- Juniors Yaakema Rose Jr. and Jose Grubbs added 16 points each.
- Redshirt sophomore Steve Webb scored a season-high 11 points to go with five rebounds and three assists.
- UMSL shot a season-high 82.6 percent (19-of-23) at the free-throw line.
