PARK FOREST, ILL. - The University of Missouri-St. Louis women's tennis team opened the spring portion of its schedule with a 7-0 win over Purdue Northwest on Saturday.

Freshman Odette Beagrie didn't allow a point on the day, teamming with senior Salome Bleuler at No. 2 doubles to record a 6-0 win before winning at No. 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3 singles.

UMSL returns to the court next Friday and Saturday with matches at Southern Arkansas and Harding, respectively.
