Junior Patryk Golinski
CRAWFORDSVILLE, IND. – Junior
Patryk Golinski swam to a third place finish in the 400-yard individual medley on Thursday at the GLVC Championships.
Golinski also broke his own school record in that event in a time of 3:57.27, which was one of five school records attained by the Tritons on the second day of the championships.
Golinski also swam the anchor leg of the 200-yard freestyle relay, which set a new school mark of 1:21.78, while the women's team had three new school records.
Junior
Aga Blocka set a school record in the prelims of the 200-yard freestyle in 1:53.30 and anchored the 400-yard medley relay team to a new mark of 3:56.45. Senior
Amber Visser also swam on that relay and established a new mark in the 100-yard butterfly.
Competition of the four-day meet continues tomorrow with prelims at 10 a.m. (EST), followed by finals at 6 p.m. (EST).
