Alex LaPorta recorded her ninth double-double of the season with 10 points and 11 rebounds, but it wasn't enough as the Tritons were limited to a 29.0 percent shooting in a 60-49 loss at Missouri S&T Thursday night in Great Lakes Valley Conference action. The loss snapped a three-game win streak by UMSL.

How it Happened
UMSL clung to a 13-11 first quarter lead after jumping out to a 9-2 advantage. The Lady Miners rallied back to take a 25-21 lead at the break and held on to a 36-35 advantage after three quarters of play.
A three-point bucket by freshman
Faye Meissner tied the game at 38-38 90 seconds into the final frame, but Missouri S&T followed with six unanswered points and sealed the game by making 7-of-8 free throws in the final 47 seconds.
