ST. CHARLES, MO. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis baseball team pounded out a season-high 17 hits on Tuesday en route to recording its second straight victory with a 13-11 win at future conference foe Lindenwood.

The Tritons got hits from 11 different players, including four from redshirt junior
Derrick Freeman, with three of those being doubles. Freeman added two RBIs and scored two runs.
UMSL, which scored in six of nine innings, fended off a late Lions rally in which hosts scored the game's final six runs, including four in the ninth inning, and left the bases loaded to end the game.
