LEBANON, ILL. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis softball split its Sunday GLVC doubleheader with No. 24 Indianapolis, winning game one, 4-2, before dropping the nightcap, 5-0.

Game 1: UMSL 4, UIndy 2
UMSL scored all four of its runs in the fifth inning, in which they sent nine batters to the plate, recording four hits. Redshirt junior
Morgan Hill drove in the first run with a one-out, bases loaded RBI single, while senior
Reagan Osborn drew a two-out bases loaded walk to make it 2-0. Junior
Andee Tiffee then helped herself in the circle with a two-out two-run single for the 4-0 advantage.
Tiffee (5-3) struck out 10 and scattered six hits, allowing both UIndy runs, including just one earned, to collect the complete game victory.
Hill and senior
Madi Sundling had two hits each, while UMSL tallied eight as a team.
Game 2: UIndy 5, UMSL 0
The Tritons were limited to just four hits, including a triple by senior
Chelsea Martinez, while UIndy recorded 11 hits. The Greyhounds scored four runs on four hits in the fifth inning.
