ST. LOUIS, MO. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis baseball team opened a three-game series at Great Lakes Valley Conference leader with 16-2 and 7-2 losses at league leader and No. 10 ranked Quincy on Saturday.

Game 1: Quincy 16, UMSL 2
The Tritons were limited to just two hits, both off the bat of junior
Andrew Hayden. His single in the sixth inning drove in redshirt junior
Derrick Freeman, while UMSL also scored on a Hawks error in the fourth.
Quincy tallied 15 hits, including four home runs.
Game 2: Quincy 7, UMSL 2
Quincy scored six unanswered to complete the sweep after two Triton runs in the fifth gave UMSL a 2-1 lead.

Mitchel Becher recorded his team-leading third home run, while redshirt senior
Brian Seymour used a single to score junior

Hayden tallied another two hits, while UMSL recorded six in the game. Quincy finished with 12.
