ST. LOUIS, MO. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis baseball team and visiting Lindenwood combined for 29 hits in a game that took three hours and 55 minutes on Tuesday with the Lions winning, 14-12.
Lindenwood scored three of the game's final four runs en route to the victory after UMSL rallied back from an eight-run deficit. The Lions out-hit the Tritons, 16-13.

The Tritons erased an 11-3 deficit by roaring back in the sixth to tie it at 11-11 with eight runs on seven hits and one Lions error. The Tritons sent 13 batters to the plate with redshirt senior

Mitchel Becher had RBI singles.
The Tritons had jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first inning, but saw Lindenwood score eight unanswered, which included a six-hit, six-run third for an 8-2 advantage. UMSL got one run back on DeCero's sac fly.
Junior
Avery Braun suffered the loss, allowing his first runs of the season in nine appearances.
Sophomore
Josh Shoemaker tossed one and one-thirds of a scoreless inning in relief, making his first appearance on the mound this season. He struck out three and allowed just one hit.
Seymour led the offense with two hits, two RBI and two runs scored. He also reached base on an error and a hit by pitch. Dvorak tallied three hits and three RBI, while DeCero finished with two hits and two RBI.
