ST. LOUIS, MO. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis softball team closed out its home schedule and celebrated Senior Day on Saturday with a sweep of William Jewell. The Tritons posted victories of 7-5 and 2-1, extending their win streak to six games.
Prior to the contests, UMSL honored its five seniors –
Carly Kingery,
Chelsea Martinez,
Lizzy Miller,
Reagan Osborn and
Madi Sundling.

Junior
Andee Tiffee drove in four runs and picked up her 12
th win of the season, while Martinez brought in other three runs.
The duo each had a two-run homer in the fifth that put UMSL ahead, 5-3. Tiffee also brought in the Tritons' first run in the first inning and then had a sac fly in the sixth that accounted for the final score after a Martinez RBI single.
In the circle, Tiffee scattered eight hits, struck out seven and didn't issue any free passes.
UMSL tallied nine hits with two each from Tiffee and Martinez, while Osborn drew two walks and also singled.

Kingery walked it off for the Tritons with a bases loaded, one-out, two-run single up the middle.
The hit also gave Kingery the win in the circle. She went all seven innings, allowing one run on five hits, while striking out seven and walking two.
