SPRINGFIELD, ILL. – After being limited to one hit in the opener, the University of Missouri-St. Louis baseball team battled back to out-hit Illinois Springfield in the nightcap during a non-conference doubleheader on Tuesday. The host Prairie Stars swept the doubleheader with wins of 12-0 and 4-3.

The Tritons had a 10-7 advantage in hits in game two and got six scoreless innings from their bullpen.
