EVANSVILLE, IND. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis baseball team lost both games of Saturday's doubleheader at Southern Indiana in the start of a three-game GLVC series. The host Screaming Eagles edged the Tritons, 4-3, in the opener, before a 15-4 win in the nightcap.

Game 1: USI 4, UMSL 3
The Screaming Eagles used a two-out two-run single in the eighth to help garner the win that also erased the Tritons' own rally.
UMSL scored twice in the sixth to tie the game at 2-2 before redshirt junior
Koltyn Schilly's RBI single in the seventh gave the Tritons the 3-2 advantage.

Senior
Jon Mahanay went seven innings in the no-decision start. He allowed just two runs on three hits, while striking out six and walking three.
Game 2: USI 15, UMSL 4
All four Triton runs came in the seventh inning and included an RBI double from Schilly and a two-run double off Dvorak's bat.
Schilly and Dvorak each finished with two hits with UMSL tallying seven total.
